Doctors

  • Oliver Roemer, III , DVM

Dr. Roemer graduated from the University of Colorado, and after a tour of service in the United States Marine Corps (aviation) was admitted to the University of California at Davis school of veterinary medicine. He graduated in 1978 and spent his initial two years of practice in equine medicine.  He worked in Escondido, California with his mentor Dan Evans, DVM.  Dr. Roemer returned to Davis in 1980 to become an owner-partner at Midtown Animal Clinic in Davis. Dr. Roemer left  Midtown in 1992 and built Aggie Animal Clinic, where he has worked on a regular basis.  Dr. Roemer has been intimately involved with the U.C. Davis veterinary clinic where he attends weekly medicine rounds. He was accepted into a clinical Fellowship in ultrasound and radiology, after which he became a clinical instructor in ultrasound. In June of 2001 he was appointed as an associate clinical professor in the Department of Radiology, a position he held until June of 2007.  Dr. Roemer and his wife Heather live in Davis, where they raised their five children. Heather is a teacher.  Dr. Roemer continues to see clients and their families of pets Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, runs a specialty ultrasound practice on Thursdays and Fridays, and teaches ultrasound periodically for the University of California Davis.    The Roemers love spending time with her family, which now numbers 11, hiking, snowshoeing, skiing and playing golf.

  • Dr. James Booth , DVM

Dr. James Booth has been practicing at Aggie Animal Clinic for seven years since graduating from the U.C. Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in the year 2000.  Before that, he had also completed his undergraduate degree at U.C.D. When he is not at the clinic, Dr. Booth spends most of his time at home with his wife and two children. When he is not helping out at preschool or shuttling his children between their many social events, he also enjoys camping, travel, reading, and theater. His family has also grown to include two feline companions, Brutus and Caesar whose relationship is every bit a tumultuous as their names might imply. Plans to add a canine member to the family have been temporarily put on hold as Dr. Booth tries to maintain his thin grip on sanity...will keep you posted.

  • Dr. Donia Murray , DVM

Management

  • Rosie Perez

I have been a technician for almost 9 years at Aggie Animal Clinic. I love working with animals and helping them in their time of need. They are such great companions and put a smile of my face. I have 6 boys in my home, my wonderful hubby Patrick, my 5 year old son Domonic, 1 year old son Izaac, my 5 year old Mastiff "Chubbz", 2 year old Pitbull "Hemi", cats "Puss-n-bootz" and my 1 females in the household "Fiona". It’s a large & very busy family. Aggie Animal Clinic has been a great place to work. I went to Western Career College and did all my rotations & internship at Aggie and I am still there. It's like having a second family. The clients & patient are the best. I love to see all those cute puppies & kittens come in and watch them grow up. There couldn't be a better line of work for me!!
